Vidya Setlur
Vidya Setlur is the senior director of Tableau Research. She leads an interdisciplinary team of research scientists in areas including data visualization, multimodal interaction, statistics, applied ML, and NLP. Her personal research interests lie at the intersection of natural language processing and computer graphics. She combines concepts and methods from information retrieval, human perception, and cognitive science to help users effectively interact with devices and information in their environment.
Arjun Srinivasan
Arjun Srinivasan is a member of the visualization team at Databricks. His research is at the intersection of human-computer interaction and information visualization. Specifically, his research explores the design of expressive and intelligent visualization tools for human-data interaction that combine techniques from multimodal (e.g., speech and touch) and mixed-initiative user interfaces.
